Hi, I’m Lyric. I’m the fifth of seven siblings, and this little guy here is my world — “Kebby.” You’ll often see him around the office, as he hates missing out on anything.

After finishing school at St Peter’s, I was eager to join our family business, and I’ve now been working within it for four years. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work across our Tauranga, Hamilton, and Cambridge branches, but I’m especially excited to now be working in my own hometown — and even better, being able to walk to work.

I may be a little younger than you might expect, but I’ve grown up surrounded by this industry, watching my mum, nan, and siblings care for families. It’s something I truly love. Being able to support families through some of the most difficult times in their lives is incredibly humbling, and it’s a privilege I never take for granted.

Carla, a mother of seven, brings strong family values into every aspect of her work. Proud to work alongside her mother, husband, and children, she leads a truly family-centred team that connects deeply with the families they serve. With five funeral homes across the North Island and their own crematorium, they provide seamless, end-to-end care with dignity and respect.

An experienced Funeral Director and Embalmer, Carla considers it a privilege to support families through loss, offering compassion, guidance, and a personalised approach every step of the way.

Gayle, Carla’s mum, is a dedicated Funeral Director whose personal experiences with loss shape her compassionate, family-first approach. A mother of two and grandmother to eleven, she brings warmth, empathy, and reassurance to every family she supports.

Outside of work, Gayle has achieved national and international success in lawn bowls and yachting, and has served as a selector and coach for the New Zealand Commonwealth Lawn Bowls team—bringing the same passion and care into everything she does.
